Botanical Gardens

Botanical Gardens at South Park is always a treat, inside the dome or on the grounds.  The cactus room in the dead of winter should be on your list of  "musts" to combat the winter blues

A stop at the Buffalo & Erie County Botanical Gardens during that long stretch of gloom just before spring is always a good bet. The cactus room is a superb diversion. I was treated to an orchid show that is an annual event....this is a shot that represents that particular mood of late winter. The deep black and the translucent white , the promise of spring on the horizon.
